At the beginning of each year since the year 2007, Janome has introduced a limited edition machine with an abundance of features and aptly named the machine DC (plus the appropriate year.) Until 2014, nothing much had changed about the machine…except its color. These machines have been offered over the internet and in brick and mortar stores since Janome introduced its first limited edition machine, the Heart Truth, in 2007. Although the machines are offered to the masses, this dealership has strived to offer a personal touch when marketing the machines both to local customers and out of state customers.

We were thrilled when we received Janome’s new Skyline S5 sewing machine today. Not only does this new machine offer many of the features of its more expensive Janome counterpart, it exceeded our expectations. The S5 has a substantial sewing surface that holds the accessories. The extension surface may be removed for free arm sewing.
Each year Janome comes out with their annual edition sewing machine, which is usually the exact same machine but with a different color trim. This year the color is purple!
The annual edition model is always a good choice. It has 50 stitches, comes with a nice needle threader, does automatic buttonholes, and more! Come by Temecula Valley Sewing Center and see it today, or check out our product page.
Janome launched its newest sewing/embroidery machine, the Memory Craft 9900, yesterday, March 1, 2013. Although the machine will not appear for sale in most Janome dealerships until mid-March, Temecula Valley Sewing Center wanted to introduce you to the sheer awesomeness of the new MC9900. No matter what type of sewing, quilting, or embroidery you do, we think you’re going to love it!
The Sewist 525S LE features 25 built-in stitches and a built-in needle threader. Of the 25 stitches, included is a one-step buttonhole. An accessory tray slides out from beneath the free arm. The machine offers drop feed, manual thread tension, stitch length and width adjustment and a push pull bobbin winder. This sewing machine also includes special accessories, including a hard cover, walking foot, and quarter inch foot.
If you are anything like most people who sew, you have used or owned more than one sewing machine in your lifetime. For many of us, we have owned a few sewing machines, and over time, we have accumulated a plethora of accessories. Often, we don’t even remember which machine they were with originally. Many sewing machine accessories and bobbins look very similar, and it is easy to make the mistake of using the wrong bobbin. While many bobbins look the same, they may have slight differences in diameter, height, or depth.
Many of us have sewn for decades, while others are relatively new sewists. Regardless of when we begin our sewing adventure, we usually want the latest and greatest equipment, but having a sewing machine that works well is essential. Whether we sew on a newer model machine, or an antique inherited from Aunt Bertha, it’s important to have a machine that works well because one that doesn’t can not only be frustrating, but it can also damage our expensive fabric.
It’s probably no surprise that the majority of sewing machines sold in the United States are $300 or less, and for popular models like Janome’s Magnolia 7318, they can be hard to get. We have been waiting for this model to come back into stock for months, and still don’t have them to sell to our customers.
If you haven’t seen Janome’s 7318 video on youtube, we’ve got it ready for you to view right here on the Temecula Valley Sewing Center website. All you need is 9 minutes to see how great this little machine is. Take a look:
Yesterday, Temecula Valley Sewing Center and all Janome dealers received an announcement from Janome, introducing their new limited edition 2012 model, the DC2012. This machine is virtually identical to the DC2011 and HT2008, except with a color change.
