Janome Ditch Quilting Foot
Using a Janome Ditch Quilting Foot is great when you want to sew straight lines on a quilt, or other project, and provide definition without seeing the stitches. There are, however, other applications for using this foot. Have you considered decorative machine applique using the decorative stitches in your machine? By placing the center guide of the Ditch Quilting Foot at the line/edge where the applique motif meets the background fabric, you can ensure even stitching with one-half of the stitch pattern stitching on the applique motif and the other one-half of the decorative stitch showing on the background fabric.
This foot is only for top loading “horizontal rotary hook model” Janome sewing machines. This foot does not fit on oscillating hook models, where the bobbin loads from the front of the machine. Please call or contact Temecula Valley Sewing Center if you are not sure if this foot will fit your machine, and we will be happy to help you.
