Time flies when you’re having fun, and it seems like yesterday that the Valley of the Mist Quilt Guild held their first quilt show in Old Town Temecula. Can you believe this is going to be the 12th year? The quilt show is going to be held on October 2nd, but you can already enjoy viewing some spectacular quilts by participating in the Quilt Walk. The guild has placed quilts inside stores in Old Town, and they will be there until the end of the day on October 2nd.
Oct. 1st there will be a great evening event with Julia Zgliniec, a fabulous quilt appraiser. There will be entertainment, lots of information, 3 people will win a free appraisal (bring a quilt that night in case you win), food from establishments in Old Town, and incredible raffle baskets!!! I’ve heard that these baskets cost between $200 and $300 to put together. Tickets for the evening event are only $15 which you can purchase at the door or online at the Valley of the Mist Quilters website. Enjoy the show!
